Leony Aurora, a communications specialist, started her career as a journalist for The Jakarta Post to be able to ask as many questions and hear as many stories as she wanted. The next step of her career was at Bloomberg, for whom she covered the UNFCCC convention in Bali that propelled Indonesia into the fight against climate change. She was inspired to study further and took a master degree in Environment, Society and Development at the University of Cambridge under a scholarship from the UK government.
