ABOUT THE WRITER
Lydie Flora Essamba à Rim is a CIFOR research assistant since 2018. She is a holder of a Master degree in Environmental Sciences, with speciality on environmental sanitation and forest restoration, from University of Yaoundé I. She is also a holder of an engineering diploma in Water, forestry and wildlife from the Faculty of Agronomy and Agricultural Sciences (FASA), University of Dschang. She previously worked for 3 years with the German cooperation GIZ in several programmes related to forestry and environmental issues. She speaks French and English.
