Kate Evans is a freelance journalist originally from New Zealand. After studying journalism at the University of Sydney and international relations at the Australian National University, she worked as a multimedia journalist at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation for three years...and then ran off to West Africa armed with a video camera and a love of African dance.
