David Harris is an agronomist with 38 years of experience working in developing countries. His early work focused on participatory technology development, particularly in semi-arid environments, to support the sustainable intensification of smallholder farming systems. In recent years, his research has centered on farmer decision-making and livelihoods analysis, with a particular focus on the challenges faced by small-scale farms.
