ABOUT THE WRITER
Cristina Müller is a consultant and journalist, specialising in communication for development. After starting her career as a Night Editor at the Associated Press in Rio de Janeiro, she opened and co-edited Latin America's first environmental news desk at O Estado de S.Paulo, one of Brazil's most prestigious newspapers. For the past 12 years, Cristina served the United Nations in several duty stations and agencies in external relations and as a communications advisor, in Rome, Luanda, Addis Ababa, and Vienna, as well as in the deep field on the Angolan/Zaire border.
