ABOUT THE WRITER
Colas Chervier is a CIRAD Scientist in Ecological Economics who is seconded to CIFOR’s CCE team. Colas is an expert in the evaluation of policies/interventions for natural resource conservation and sustainable management (counterfactual methods and theory-based evaluation). His work focuses on how economic, fiscal and administrative incentives can help change the behaviour of land users and governments. Colas holds a PhD in Economics and an MSc in Tropical Agronomy, Agricultural Development and Development Economics.
