ABOUT THE WRITER
Antoine Libert Amico has been a research consultant with CIFOR’s Global Comparative Study on REDD+ since 2014. Dr. Libert Amico’s research covers issues of multilevel governance, equity, carbon management and agroforestry systems, with a particular focus in southern Mexico.
Dr. Libert has over 10 years experience in interdisciplinary research projects on sustainable development, climate change, and community organizing, including capacity development design and implementation. He holds a B.A. in anthropology and international development, and a M.Sc. and Ph.D. in rural development.
