ABOUT THE WRITER
Samuel Adeyanju is a Ph.D. student in the Faculty of Forestry at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Canada. His research investigates African environmental politics and the socio-political dimensions of natural resources management policies and programs in West Africa. His Master’s degree from UBC focused on the co-existence of formal and informal institutional arrangements in managing cultural landscapes in Southwest Nigeria. He has researched on natural resources management issues in Ghana, Zambia and Tanzania.
