Pauliina Upla is a Rome-based consultant who has worked with the United Nations in Liberia, Geneva and Kenya, covering post-conflict resource governance, the green economy and the complex nexus of biodiversity conservation, economic development and local livelihoods. Previously, Upla worked as an environmental consultant in Finland, helping companies improve their environmental and social performance.
