ABOUT THE WRITER
Michael Padmanaba (Nobo), joined CIFOR as a Research Assistant in the Environmental Services and Sustainable Use of Forests programme in Bogor in January 2005. He is involved in the Multidisciplinary Landscape Assessment (MLA) and other biodiversity related research, results dissemination and MLA methods training for CIFOR's partners. Padmanaba has a Master's degree in Forestry from Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
