ABOUT THE WRITER
Freddie Siangulube holds a BSc Forestry from Copperbelt University, a Master’s degree in Management of Biodiversity from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences and a Postgraduate Diploma in Heritage Studies from University of Nairobi. Currently, he is a PhD student at University of Amsterdam researching multi-stakeholder platform governance for actor engagement, practice and policy in the context of landscape approaches in Kalomo, Zambia. His research interests include natural resource governance, policy and livelihoods issues. Freddie previously worked as a museum curator and as a forest officer in the ministry of natural resources in Zambia. His interest in policy and natural resource governance grew as he worked with various stakeholders in a Southern African regional conservation project under World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF-Zambia) where he worked a project manager.
