Edith is CIFOR’s regional communication officer for Africa. She is in charge of developing, implementing and evaluating CIFOR’s communication strategy for Africa based in the Central Africa Regional Office in Yaoundé, Cameroon. Edith holds a degree in Language and Literature, and also has a degree in Journalism from the Advanced School of Mass Communication of the University of Yaounde II-Soa. Prior to joining CIFOR, she worked for the Center for Environment and Development, the Cameroon chapter of Friends of the Earth International where she was actively involved in campaigning and advocacy with various civil society groups at the international arena.
