ABOUT THE WRITER
Dewi Ratna Kurniasari is a researcher with the Centre for Research and Development on Social, Economics, Policy and Climate Change in the Indonesian Ministry of Environment and Forestry’s Research, Development and Innovation Agency. She is involved in research on such topics as social forestry, land policy, tenure and sustainable palm oil development. She completed academic studies in Indonesia, graduating from Lampung University with a major in forest management and Bogor Agriculture University with a major in tropical biodiversity conservation.
