Daniel C. Miller is Associate Professor of Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where his research and teaching focus on environmental politics and policy. He chaired the International Union of Forest Research Organizations (IUFRO) Global Assessment on Forests and Poverty. Prior to joining the faculty at Illinois, Miller was a Senior Forestry Specialist at the World Bank. He earned his Ph.D. in the School of Natural Resources and Environment at the University of Michigan.
