L’éléphant d’Afrique (Loxodonta africana), photographié ici au Cameroun, est le plus grand animal terrestre vivant. Selon des recherches, les chasseurs commerciaux représentent une menace beaucoup plus grave dans les aires protégées pour les espèces vulnérables comme celles-ci que les communautés qui chassent pour leur subsistance.
