Richard Eba’a Atyi is the Regional Coordinator of CIFOR's Central Africa Office. He has more than 25 years of experience working in forests, especially in tropical forest management planning, forest economics, forest certification and forestry institutions. Prior to joining CIFOR, Richard worked as a lecturer at the University of Dschang, Cameroon, and then as a manager of an African regional project for the International Tropical Timber Organization (ITTO). He has a Masters of Science in Forestry from Oregon State University, USA, and a PhD in forest resources management and economics from Wageningen University, Netherlands.
