Cathy Watson is Chief of Partnerships for the Center for International Forestry Research and World Agroforestry (CIFOR-ICRAF). She was Chief of Programme Development for World Agroforestry 2012-2020. Prior to that, she founded and ran two non-governmental organizations in Uganda -- Straight Talk Foundation and Mvule Trust. She was made a senior Ashoka fellow in 2006. She is a graduate in biology from Princeton and holds a graduate certificate in agroforestry from the University of Missouri. She has worked for over 30 years in Africa.
