Acerca del autor
Sophia Gnych began her career studying Biology at Imperial College London where she also achieved an MSc in Global Environmental Change and Policy. During her masters she investigated the social and environmental impacts of oil palm expansion in Uganda, and as a result developed a keen interest in the role of Agribusiness in international development agendas and its impact on forests and the environment. Sophia subsequently moved to Indonesia to work for the Zoological Society of London’s Biodiversity and Palm Oil Project and has recently joined CIFOR as a research officer investigating the impact of governance, trade and investment on forests.
